Kyle Laramie Named Founding Member of NAVR’s Aid & Attendance Division
Veterans Care Coordination (VCC) is proud to announce its role as the founding member of the newly launched Aid & Attendance Division of the National Association for Veteran Rights (NAVR). The initiative represents an important step toward strengthening ethical advocacy and improving access to earned benefits for Veterans and their families.
NAVR’s expansion reflects the growing need for transparency, accountability, and professional standards within the Veteran benefits landscape. By bringing together organizations committed to responsible advocacy, the new division aims to help ensure Veterans and surviving spouses receive accurate guidance as they pursue the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Pension with Aid & Attendance benefit.
For VCC Founder and Owner Kyle Laramie, the organization’s mission has always centered on education and empowering families to make informed decisions.
“When I started Veterans Care Coordination, my goal was simple: to educate as many Veterans and families as possible about the Pension with Aid & Attendance benefit and the resources available to them,” Laramie said. “Whether a family ultimately works with us or not is secondary. What matters is that they understand their options so they can make the best decision for their situation. Veterans deserve the tools, resources, and autonomy to choose the path that’s right for them.”
Since its founding, VCC has become nationally recognized for helping families navigate the complex documentation and application process associated with the benefit. The organization also works with home care partners across the country to help connect Veterans with the support they need to remain safely at home.
The new NAVR division is led by Peter O’Rourke, President of NAVR and a Veteran of both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. O’Rourke previously served as Acting Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he led a workforce of more than 380,000 employees and managed one of the largest federal budgets. He also served as VA Chief of Staff and established the VA Office of Accountability and Whistleblower Protection.
With extensive experience in both government and private industry, O’Rourke brings a strong focus on responsible leadership and ethical standards to NAVR’s work supporting the Veteran community.
“The launch of NAVR’s Aid & Attendance Division represents an important step in strengthening ethical advocacy and expanding access to earned benefits for Veterans and their families,” O’Rourke said. “Organizations like Veterans Care Coordination bring valuable experience and a strong commitment to responsible, Veteran-centered support. Their participation helps advance our mission of promoting transparency, integrity, and professional standards across the benefits ecosystem.”
For VCC, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring Veterans and their families have access to reliable information, ethical guidance, and the resources necessary to make informed choices about their care and benefits.
As NAVR continues expanding its efforts to elevate standards across the industry, VCC is honored to contribute to a collaborative approach that keeps Veterans and their families at the center of every decision.
