Honoring Every Veteran at VCC
On Wednesday, November 10th, employees at Veterans Care Coordination took time out of their busy day to help celebrate our clients by placing over 1,000 flags on our property. Employees participated in setting a flag to represent every client we are currently servicing at VCC. Our clients become like family members as we talk to them daily, and we want to show our appreciation to each client for their service and sacrifice to our country.
Francine Jordan, VCC Account Manager, stated, “Stepping into the account manager role where I have direct contact and hearing some of the stories has been very humbling, especially hearing from the women who fought for our country. But, it has been really inspiring, and I am thankful to VCC for the opportunity.”
Sheila Bueltman’s father, Jay Vitale, served four years in the USAF. Sheila stated, “He was happy to help with flag placement at VCC today. He loves helping other Veterans. A friend called, and he told them how we help over 1,000 Veterans a month and placed over 1,000 flags on the lawn in their honor. He really understands the mission.”
Jimmy Gianopulos leaves January 15th for Officer Candidate School with the USMC in Quantico, VA. He wanted to join our employees today to place flags in honor of our Veterans at VCC, and as his mom, I have to say I couldn’t be more proud.
At Veterans Care Coordination, we love to honor all Veterans but want to do something special to recognize the outstanding Veterans we serve and work with every day.
