Last month, in honor of Veterans Day, Veterans Care Coordination (VCC) proudly contributed to Dogs for Our Brave (DFOB) through the company’s Serving Others fund — an employee-driven program where team members can donate a portion of their paycheck to support meaningful causes.

Located in St. Louis, Missouri, Dogs for Our Brave was founded by Andy Gladstein, who was driven by a desire to make a lasting impact on the lives of disabled Veterans. Recognizing the immense therapeutic and practical value service dogs provide, Andy created an organization that would not only supply these life-changing companions but also cover all associated expenses, including veterinary care and lifelong support. His vision was simple but powerful: remove financial barriers so that no Veteran in need would go without.

This year marked a significant milestone for Dogs for Our Brave as they acquired a new, larger facility. This expanded space will enable DFOB to train and house more dogs, thereby increasing the number of Veterans they can assist. The new facility represents growth, hope, and the impact of community-driven generosity.

VCC’s commitment to service extends beyond Veterans Day. Through the Serving Others program, employees have also supported the Alzheimer’s Association Walk and Wreaths Across America this year. By contributing to these vital causes, VCC team members continue to demonstrate their shared values of compassion, service, and community impact.

VCC is proud to support organizations such as Dogs for Our Brave. Together, we uplift our nation’s heroes and their families, ensuring they receive the support they truly deserve.

About Kyle Laramie, Founder & CEO

Kyle founded Veterans Care Coordination in April 2011. As its founder and CEO of VCC, Kyle is driven by the memory of his grandfather, a World War II Veteran who unnecessarily missed out on essential VA benefits because Kyle’s family wasn’t aware of available opportunities. In recognition of his impact in leadership, Kyle was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list and St. Louis Small Business Monthly’s “100 St. Louisans to Know” in 2014. VCC was named a St. Louis Small Business Monthly “Top 20” small business and a finalist for the St. Louis Post Dispatch Top Workplace (2015-2022), St. Louis Business Journal Best Place to Work (2019 & 2022), and the Arcus Awards (2014). The team has served more than 14,000 Veteran clients and their families. Kyle frequently speaks on Veterans’ benefits, addressing conferences such as the Home Care Association of America and Decision Health. He is passionate about giving back and has built a charitable-minded organization that supports various philanthropic efforts.
