Sherry Meadows – Regional Outreach Manager
As community outreach manager, Sherry educates social workers, hospitals, medical professionals and members of the community about the Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit. In addition, she communicates the advantages of VCC’s unique eight-step qualification process. Prior to VCC, Sherry was a community outreach representative for Evercare Hospice. In addition, she served as the director of marketing for a privately owned homecare agency for more than six years. Sherry has also held positions with Algonquin Home Health, Tender Loving Care and BJC Home Care Services. She began her career as an ICU nurse.
Sherry graduated from nursing school at Missouri Baptist Hospital. She subsequently received a Bachelor of Health Sciences, as well as a Master of Science in Health Administration, from the University of St. Francis, earning top honors. She is a member of the board of directors for the Missouri Care Plan Council, and is active with the Association of Long Term Care Social Workers (LTCSW), Continuum of Care Marketing Association (CCMA), and the Breakthrough Coalition. Sherry is an advocate for veterans and their families in memory of her late grandfather, who served in the army during World War II and would have qualified for the Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit if his family known about it.
