[Lake St. Louis, June 1, 2023] – Veterans Care Coordination (VCC) proudly announces the promotions of Cheryl Hammons and Cristie Herring to the positions of Vice President. These promotions reflect the significant increase in responsibilities and the expanded scope of their roles within the organization.

Cheryl Hammons, formerly the Director of People + Talent, has been promoted to Vice President – People + Care. In her new role, Cheryl will oversee the strategic management of VCC’s human resources and talent development initiatives, ensuring that the company attracts and retains the best professionals in the industry. Additionally, Cheryl will further promote a culture of care throughout the organization, aligning with VCC’s core values of delivering exceptional customer experiences.

In this new role, Cristie will lead the expansion of VCC’s services beyond the Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit and develop strategic relationships with partner organizations, providers, non-providers, and consumers. Her focus will be on broadening the scope of VCC’s offerings to enhance the support and care provided to Veterans and their families.
