When it comes to various pensions available through the VA, veterans often have questions. Trying to get somebody at the VA itself to answer those questions can be like pulling teeth, as the old adage goes. This leaves some veterans feeling as though they have no other option than to try and pay for assistance.

Veterans Care: Assistance With Home Care Benefits

So where can veterans go for help?

Veterans Care Coordination is a great asset. Some veterans, when they need home care support services, for example, will turn to us to try and get answers to important questions.

It’s also a great idea to contact a home care agency to find out what kind of services they offer.

Many agencies across the country have home care aides working for them that provide a wide range of basic support services. Their caregivers might be able to offer transportation to get to a doctor’s appointment or to the store, to provide companionship, help the elderly veteran prepare a meal, keep up with their basic housekeeping, or generally keep them safe. Some agencies also provide home health care services, such as a visiting nurse. Home health care visits (unlike private duty home care) require a doctor’s order.

While some of these agencies do have experience supporting aging and disabled veterans, especially through the Aid and Attendance Benefit, the best call to make first, is to a reputable organization like Veterans Care Coordination. Our staff can help answer questions.

Why Veterans Care Coordination™?

The Veterans Care Coordination goal is to assist as many veterans and spouses as possible. Deserving seniors should not fail to take advantage of the program because of an inability to pay for care during the VA processing period. For those clients, we will pick up some or all of the cost of care prior to reimbursement through our innovative no-interest loan program.

The Veterans Care Coordination staff are experts at understanding and helping you obtain the Aid and Attendance Pension benefit. We cut through all of the RED TAPE for you.

We will remove the frustration and worry by serving you with the same honor and integrity with which you served our country.
